Coatings for metals are developed and produced by Nowocoat A/S in close collaboration with our customers, which means that our products always fulfil the requirements that are made by the production facilities and that we can ensure a good durability of the final product.

Water based systems

Nowocoat is developing, manufacturing and marketing water-based metal coatings from the best and most optimal raw materials.

We offer primer systems that will provide the best adhesion and corrosion protection for the treated surface, and a basecoat for the Topcoating which will furnish durable and beautiful surfaces.
The products are innovatively developed on our own R & D. Specially waterbased systems with new technologies that raise previous standards for drying times, coverability at both low and high application rates, as well as robust and sustained flexibility all composed to achieve close to zero percent VOC content. We take responsibility for our environment, and substitute raw materials to make them as environmentally friendly as possible. The environmental authorities require the paint materials to be environmentally friendly, as it is becoming more of a demand in Scandinavia and all of Europe in the future.

Properties: Hybrid.
Application: Used for building up corrosion resistance classes on engines and machinery. Has good adhesion to most metal surfaces, including zinc.

Properties: Hybrid machinery enamel.
Application: Used for steel structures, cranes, pumps and engines. Used as a single-layer build for good protection against corrosion.

TOP-COAT WB

Properties: Hybrid Top-Coat.
Application: Used indoors in a single-layer build where there are no requirements for the fulfilment of corrosion resistance classes. As a two-layer build with a Nowo Metal Primer WB/SB under it for the building up of corrosion resistance classes.

Application: Used on saw blades and steel bands for lighter protection against corrosion

Properties: Use where a high gloss is desired in addition to weather and chemical resistance. For the building up of higher corrosion resistance classes with Nowo Metal 2-K EP Primer WB and Nowo Metal Primer WB.

Properties: Thin film coating
Application: Used in a single layer for drum coating, saw blades and steel bands. Can be combined with Nowo Metal Term Primer for more protection against corrosion.

 

 

Solvent based systems

Nowocoat's solvent-based systems are optimized based on specific requirements, such as: drying times, finish, gloss, adhesion, and corrosion class requirements. Our Coating covers the entire System range from 1K, 2K, oxidative, moisture, oven, IR or UV drying. We advise on our broad knowledge of spray technique, plunge pool etc. Nowocoat is known for both standard solutions, but even more for taylormade Coating systems adapted to the Metal Industry's individual needs and requirements.

Our specialist team has designed a program covering different types of binder additives, fillers, corrosion chemicals, lightweight pigments, which free from heavy metals such as lead, all combined in one product. Other products are the zinc or iron dust based Primers in Corrosion Classes from 1 to 5, where the finishing layer is a 2-component Polyaspartic topcoat to create a top wearing layer.
